We had a polarizing presidential election not too long ago. By the time we gather for this evening, our city will have gone through yet another contentious city council election. All of which inevitably surface plenty of ideas, opinions, and slogans that dance around some attempted answer to the question: what is the good society? We’ll move beyond the memes in search of all this.
